The goal of this project is simple: to make sure that anyone in Ireland that would like to grow their own herb has access to free seeds and info. Anyone in Ireland that would like to grow their own can email the address below and receive some free cannabis seeds. A little bit about the seeds available can be found under the "current seed availability"header on this page. Just email cannabishomegrowerscoalition@yahoo.com with the address you would like them sent to. NOTE: Don't worry about names, use whatever name you would like, and the seeds will be posting from Ireland, so nice and simple!
Currently, the feminized strains available are 1: Wigglebutt. 2: Wicked Wiggle. 3: Rootbird #4 X Wicked Wiggle. The regular (non-feminized) seeds are a couple of Rootbird F2s. The Rootbird #4 X Rootbird #3 and the Rootbird #1 XRootbird #3.
Wigglebutt (2022) = Clinker X reversed White Widow.
These were made by pollinating a Clinker Female with pollen from a reversed White Widow. They are usually mid-sized plants that do well in a tent grow and lend themselves well to scrogging. They need between 55-65 days of flower cycle to finish. Most phenos are very colorful. These are feminized seeds
In early 2022 I participated in what I would call a historical experiment in the cross-country collaborative cannabis interactivity possible in the emerging, post-prohibition landscape. An online community I was part of at the time, The Order of Cultivation, had a community seed making event that was termed the “Community pheno hunt”. It was not really a conventional pheno hunt, but the public open participation in bringing together different cannabis genetics marked a historical place in time. The way it was supposed to work was this: you would send one seed to a Post Office box in central California, and it would be grown out by a member of the community named Pappy. Only the first 50 submissions were to be used. Pappy would grow them all, and share the pics and info in the Order’s Discord, and members would vote on who to keep and who to cull at various points along the way. At the end, all 50 members who contributed were supposed to get a bunch of the seeds from each cross made. That part is not exactly how it ended up happening, but that is just drama not relevant here now. I did receive seeds from 2 of 8 crosses made in this project though, and the Rootbirds were one of those crosses. This is the lineage: Rootbeer bx1 X (Hummingbird X The Phoenix). The names of all the crosses were chosen via online poll for members, just as the choice of what to cross to what was during the hunt.
These were made with pollen from the #3 male Rootbird crossed to the #1Rootbird female. The #1 female was a very large plant, and the F2 seeds from her produce very big plants as well. For this reason, I would only recommend these seeds to those who have plenty of room. These will likely not work well in a short, small tent, and will need a bigger area. The flower cycle on these is kinda long, 65-80 days from flip. These are NOT feminized seeds.
These were made from the #3 male Rootbird pollen crossed to the #4 Rootbird female. The #4 female was the shortest, most compact of the Rootbird females I ran, and these seeds are likely to produce the most small space friendly plants of the Rootbird F2s. They also won't need quite as long to finish as the RB #1 crosses. These will finish in 60-70 days from flip. These are NOT feminized seeds.
These are the Rootbird # 4 female pollinated with reversed pollen from my keeper cut of Wicked Wiggle. These plants should be well suited for small tent grows, and they will need 60-70 days from flip to finish. These are feminized seeds.
